Royal Canin have designed the X-Small Mature + 8 to met the needs of the very small breed dog between the age of 8 - 12 years. Very small breeds such as tea cup yorkies, chalkies and other toy dogs are often very fussy eaters so the unique kibble has been developed to be perfectly adapted to the miniature jaw of dogs under 4kg. The tasty poultry flavour along with the small kibble tempts even the most fussiest of dogs.
Mature dogs have differing needs to younger dogs. Royal Canin X-Small Mature + 8 helps maintain vitality in very small breed dog facing the first signs of ageing (renal & Cardiac function) and helps support the immune system with a patented complex of antioxidents.
Very small dogs are also prone to constipation. A balanced intake of fibres helps facilitate intestinal transit and contributes to good stool quality.
